Parks Dinarides -network of protected areas of the Dinarides is dedicated to improving, promoting and supporting natural and cultural values of protected Dinaric regions, and to the implementation of best practices of sustainable development and management. Parks of Dinarides network consists of more than 80 protected areas in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosova*, Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia.
Lastovsko otočje is one of the largest marine protected areas in Croatia, and it belongs to the Dubrovnik - Neretva County. Within the boundaries of the Park, bordered by the lighthouses of islands Sušca, Tajana, Glavata and the cape Struge on Lastovo, there are 44 islands (the largest are Lastovo and Sušac), islets, rocks and reefs of the total area of 53km2 and 143km2 of sea surface.
Nature Park Blidinje is located in Herzegovina, in the northern zone of the Dinarides, northwest to Mostar, on the right bank of the Neretva. Sources, lakes, valleys and caves, and other geomorphologic forms represent the magic of this Nature Park.
Vrelo Bosne represents the spring of river Bosna, located southwest of the city of Sarajevo, below the slopes of the mountains Igman and Bjelasnica. The richness of nature in this area, which attracts a large number of users, is reflected in the quality of drinking water resources, thermal waters, forests, agricultural potentials, attractive locations for tourism and recreation, as well as in numerous cultural-historical heritage goods.
Karaburun - Sazan
The marine park features ruins of sunken Greek, Roman and World War II ships, rich underwater fauna, steep cliffs and giant caves, ancient inscriptions of sailors on shore, secluded beaches, and breathtaking views of the coastline. Is the only national marine park of Albania.
