Exhibition “Nature connects us” – Parks Dinarides continues its journey

TNP Centre Bohinj will be one of the places of big exhibition Nature connects us – Parks Dinarides from May till the end of August.
After a successfully organized exhibition of a large format panel in the Tivoli Park, Rožnik and Šišenski hrib, the exhibition Nature connects us – Parks Dinarides is moving to TNP Centre Bohinj.
Opening of the exhibition is scheduled for Friday, 17 May 2019, at 19.00.
In the large-format photographs, 58 out of 92 protected areas are represented, which are members of Parks Dinarides network which spreads from Slovenia through Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Albania. The exhibition presents an overview of the natural values and cultural heritage of protected areas, as well as the benefits of protecting these areas for local population and residents of wider region.
The parts of the exhibit will be located next to Bohinj in other informative places: Information Centre Dom Trenta, Infocentar Triglavska Bled in Bled, Green House TIC Kobarid, and Slovenian Mountain Museum in Mojstrana.
In addition to the protected areas in Parks Dinarides network, members of the Parks' Association of Slovenia that was founded in 2011 and today, brings together fourteen managers of Slovenia protected areas at the exhibition.
This international project is designed to convey the message that nature does not know for boundaries and always connects us.
The National Park Triglav hosts an exhibition and it was organized in cooperation with Parks Dinarides, WWF Adria, and Tivoli Park, Rožnik and Šišenski Hrib. The exhibition is co-financed through the LIFE NATURAVIVA project.
