WWF Adria and the Park Dinarides – network of protected areas of Dinarides are seeking to recruit a talented team of over 20 people to assess the current level of engagement between local communities and protected areas across the Dinaric Arc region during January to May 2017.
Full training will be given at the end of January to prepare successful applicants to undertake facilitated interviews, analyse the results and provide recommendations. The work will be part-time (from end of January to May 2017) and includes all of the protected areas within the Dinaric Arc Region (Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Kosovo*, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia).
Candidates need to be flexible, speak and write in English, have knowledge of protected area objectives and management. Experience of conducting stakeholder workshops and working with the principles of a rights-based approach to conservation including a strong focus on gender equality and non-discrimination, is essential.
