We are focused on creating common identity of the Parks Dinarides’ protected areas as a unique ecoregion identified by the world. We promote the values and offer of the protected areas, and strengthen the capacities that contribute to the improvement of the mutual promotion.

With that goal, the Parks Dinarides established the October 7 as the Dinarides Protection Day in 2019. The initiative for establishing the Dinarides Protection Day came from the Parks Dinarides’ Secretariat, Podgorica as the first step towards improvement of the Dinarides’ values, strengthening cooperation and greater recognition of the Dinaric Arc region as a whole. By marking this date, we send the message that the improvement of natural and cultural values’ protection of the Dinarides should be the priority and common task for all of us.
