Bembasa is the old part of the city of Sarajevo. It is located along the course of the river Miljacka and is very rich in rare species of plants, and is considered an endemic center. In the area of the Protected Landscape “Bembaša” there is floristic and faunal, geomorphological and hydrological diversity.
