The Biologer platform was presented at the scientific conference in the NP “Prokletije”

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment and operation of the Environmental Protection Agency of Montenegro, as well as the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Ecological State, an international scientific conference was organized in the “Prokletije” National Park from September 20 to 22 this year, named “Protection of nature and environment, state, importance and perspectives”.

                The conference lasted for three days, during which a large number of scientists and experts from the country and the region gathered, who, along with presentations and discussions, shared their experiences and problems they face in the process of protecting nature, biodiversity and the environment.

                On the last day of the conference, within the poster section, the coordinator of the project “Mapping invasive foreign plant species and establishment of the Biologer platform in Montenegro”, Bojana Mijović, presented the Biologer project in Montenegro to the attendees. The Biologer platform was established in Montenegro in May of this year, as part of the aforementioned project implemented by Parks Dinarides, which is funded by the Rufford Small Grants Foundation from the United Kingdom.
