IMPORTANT INFORMATION: the new deadline for submission of project within the II Cycle of the Grants Program for Protected Areas

We hereby inform you that the deadline for submission of application for the II Cycle of the Grants Program for protected areas has been extended. The new deadline is January 15, 2021.

This extension of the deadline will not affect the planned dynamics of evaluation of the received projects. The period of project implementation remains March 01- December 31, 2021.

Also, the extension of the deadline for submitting projects does not affect applications that have already been submitted.

The Grant Program for Protected Areas is intended for managers of protected areas in the Dinaric Arc region to improve relations and dialogue between protected areas and their local communities and build partnerships at local and regional level.

Projects under this Program can be implemented at national and/or regional level in the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Protected areas from these countries can apply as Lead Applicants.

Protected areas from Croatia and Slovenia can participate in competition as regional partners.

The priority when awarding grants is given to protected areas – members of the Parks Dinarides network, and other national parks, nature parks and regional parks from the eight countries of the Dinaric region are invited to apply as well.
