Parks Dinarides presented Analysis of gaps in existing policies and practices related to the management of protected areas

Parks Dinarides in cooperation with The Nature Cinservancy (TNC) and the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism, organized the event ” Analysis of gaps in existing policies and practices related to the Management of Protected Areas in Montenegro”.

The goal of the analysis was to accurately identify key gaps in the management of protected areas in Montenegro, with an assessment of whether and to what extent the current state of management of protected areas is in accordance with legal provisions and a proposed solution to overcome the deficiencies.

Recommendations, findings and an overview of the problems faced by protected areas were discussed at the event.

The analysis is still in draft form and in the process of consultation, in this regard it will soon be publicly available.
